How Wren grades
What Wren is
Wren is an AI-generated character. The face and voice are generated; the research isn't. Every grade comes from published guidelines, trials and reviews, and every source is linked.
The scale
- AStrong, repeated human evidence.
- BGood evidence, a real but modest effect.
- CMixed or early. Fine to try; don't pay much.
- DWeak, mostly lab or animal data. The marketing is ahead of the science.
- FContradicted, or a real risk.
How a grade gets made
- Find the strongest evidence: clinical guidelines first, then trials and meta-analyses.
- Grade the evidence for the claim as it's being sold, not the best-case version.
- The studies go up here, linked, every time.
What a grade isn't
Medical advice. Grades describe the general evidence. Your situation is a conversation with your doctor.
Who makes Wren
Wren is made by the team behind Zenith, an app that scores food and supplement labels for IBS triggers. Wren grades the trends; Zenith grades the products. Because we make both, any post where Wren mentions Zenith says so.
Sponsorships
A product has to earn a B or better first, and the grade is published before any deal. Paid posts say so. The same rule covers Zenith: Wren grades the evidence, not the app.
